TIP: You can create and share documents between Setup Microsoft Office 2016 and Office 2013 without worrying about compatibility issues. If you didn’t remove Setup Office 2016 before attempting to reinstall Office 2013, you’ll get an error that detects a newer version of Office is installed on your device. You’ll need to uninstall Office 2016 before you can continue.
